History

Abide has hosted an annual retreat since 2017. Each year, between 90 and 120 young adults come together to learn from God's word and to fellowship with like-minded peers. Retreats have been held at Mount Hermon in Felton, CA, Zephyr Point in South Lake Tahoe, NV, Forest Home in Forest Falls, CA, and Cedar Springs in Sumas, WA.

  • Can I come if I'm not yet 18?

Because Abide events and retreats are insured for adults only, we cannot accommodate minors. Please come in the future!

What's the cutoff for those in their mid-30s?

Participants in their mid-30s can decide when they have aged out of Abide. The hard cutoff is when you're no longer in your 30's.

What is the policy on alcohol and cannabis?

Because Abide gatherings are alcohol and cannabis free, we ask everyone to refrain from bringing or consuming them during events and retreats.

    What is the cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel, you can request a refund less a nonrefundable $50 administration fee up to 21 days before the retreat begins.

How can I see who is attending and communicate with fellow attendees?

Once registered, you are added to the "Lake Tahoe 2024 Retreat" group where you will be able to see and communicate with fellow attendees.
